The Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) is an important government organization responsible for the preservation, restoration, and development of the historic walled city of Lahore. These appointments will be purely on a contract basis, initially for three years, with the possibility of annual extensions for up to two additional years depending on performance.

Available Positions

1. Director (Admin & Accounts) – MPS-III (1 Post)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Commerce, Human Resource, or Finance from an HEC-recognized university with at least six years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field;
    OR
  • Master’s degree (16 years of education, Second Division) in Social Sciences, Commerce, Human Resource, or Finance from an HEC-recognized university with at least ten years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

2. Director (Conservation & Planning) – MPS-III (1 Post)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Archaeology or Architecture from an HEC-recognized university with at least six years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field;
    OR
  • Master’s degree (16 years of education, Second Division) in Archaeology or Architecture from an HEC-recognized university with at least ten years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

3. Director (Engineering/Infrastructure) – MPS-III (1 Post)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university with at least six years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field;
    OR
  • Master’s degree (16 years of education, Second Division) in Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university with at least ten years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

General Conditions

  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years (calculated on the closing date of applications).
  • Candidates working in Government or Semi-Government organizations must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
  • All degrees must be obtained from HEC-recognized universities/institutions.
  • Candidates must present their original documents (CV, CNIC, domicile, degrees, and experience certificates) along with attested copies at the time of the interview.
  • The contract period is three years initially, with the possibility of extensions (up to two years) based on performance.
