The University of Education, Lahore (UE Lahore), established in 2002, is a large multi-campus, multi-city, and multi-disciplinary university in Pakistan. Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the following non-teaching positions at the respective offices/campuses:
Available Positions
1. Chief Engineer (Civil) (BS-20)
- Location: Head Office
- Qualification & Requirements:
- B.Sc. (Second Division) in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
- Registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) as a Civil Engineer.
- Seventeen years of relevant experience, including at least five years in management of works.
- Age Limit: 40–50 years
2. Medical Officer (BS-17)
- Location: Bank Road Campus, Lahore
- Qualification & Requirements:
- MBBS (First Division) from an HEC-recognized university/institute.
- Registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).
- One year of house job experience.
- Age Limit: 21–35 years
- Note: Only female candidates may apply for this post.
How to Apply
- Applicants must apply online through the university job portal at web.ue.edu.pk/jobs.
- After online submission, applicants must also send a signed hard copy of the pre-filled online application form to the Registrar’s Office, University of Education, College Road, Township Campus, Lahore.
- Carefully fill the online form, as editing is not allowed after submission.
- Applicants should print the system-generated fee challan and deposit the application processing fee in any branch of the Bank of Punjab as per the following rates: ScaleProcessing FeeBPS-20Rs. 4,000/-BPS-17Rs. 2,500/-
- Deposited amounts are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Attach attested copies of CNIC, domicile, educational documents, certificates, experience letters, and the original deposit receipt along with the printed application form.
- Applications without proof of fee deposit will not be considered.
- Important Dates:
- Closing date for online applications: 19-09-2025 (within office hours)
- Submission of hard copy with documents: 22-09-2025 (in person or via courier)
- Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

General Information
- Relaxation in the upper age limit may be granted according to government rules.
- For non-teaching positions in BS-18 and above, only experience gained in BS-17 or higher will be considered (as per Higher Education Department clarification, Govt. of Punjab, letter No. SO(Univ.III)Misc-1/2021 dated 12-09-2022).
- Only degrees from HEC-recognized universities/institutions will be accepted. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificates issued by HEC.
- Candidates employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel. Applications without NOC/advance copy will not be entertained.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews. No TA/DA will be admissible.
- The University will not be responsible for delays in communication caused by postal or courier services.
- Relevant professional experience from autonomous, semi-autonomous, or reputable private organizations will also be considered, provided it was gained after acquiring the required qualification.
- The University reserves the right to:
- Increase, decrease, or cancel vacancies without providing a reason.
- Conduct screening/tests for shortlisting of candidates.
